Terms of Service
Effective August 24, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern use of the We Intervene service. If your school or district has a signed agreement with us, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these terms. By using the service you agree to these terms.
2. What the service is
We Intervene helps school teams and remote support assistants receive requests from students and families, connect them to resources, follow through, and record outcomes. The service supports coordination work. It does not provide medical, mental health, legal, or emergency services, and it is not a substitute for professional advice or emergency response. In an emergency, call 911 or your local crisis line.
3. Accounts and access
- Staff accounts are created by invitation from an administrator.
- Family portal access is by invitation tied to a specific family record.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Do not share accounts.
- Notify us promptly if you believe an account has been used without authorization.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the service only for legitimate school family support and engagement work.
- Access student and family records only when you have a role-appropriate reason to do so.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe or scan the service, or interfere with its operation.
- Do not upload malicious code, unlawful content, or information you have no right to share.
- Do not export or redistribute student or family information outside your organization's policies.
5. Customer data
Schools and districts own the information they put into the service, and remain responsible for its accuracy and for the notices and permissions their own rules require. We use that information to operate the service for them, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Assistance features
The service may suggest a category, priority, matching resource, draft message, or summary. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. A person must review and approve before anything is sent to a family or recorded as a decision or outcome. You are responsible for what you send and record.
7. Resources and partners
Resource Hub entries describe community programs and providers that we do not operate or control. Availability, eligibility, and quality are determined by those organizations. Verify details before relying on them for a family.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We will avoid changes that materially reduce core functionality during an active agreement without notice.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access that threatens the security of the service or the safety of student and family information. Your organization may stop using the service at any time; upon termination we handle remaining data as described in the Privacy Policy and any signed agreement.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Except where a signed agreement says otherwise, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made by staff, families, or third-party providers using information in the service.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and communicated to the schools and districts using the service.
